Southern Sierra Medical Clinic Celebrates New Building With Grand Opening and Open House Event

Monday, October 14, 2019, RIDGECREST, Calif. – Ridgecrest Regional Hospital’s (RRH) Southern Sierra Medical Clinic (SSMC) hosted a grand opening and open house event on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at its new clinic space located at 105 E. Sydnor Ave., Ridgecrest. The event included a welcome speech from the Administrator of Community Care Clinics, Daphne Unhassobiscay, as well as a Q&A session, tours of the new clinic, and an opportunity to speak with the SSMC doctors and staff.

SSMC Clinic Manager, Jesse Allande, RN said: “We are so blessed to be able to continue to provide high quality care to our patients in a brand new facility and are excited for the future of Family Practice in Ridgecrest, with the addition of our two new physicians.”

“We are so grateful to have been able to share this moment with our patients and are thankful for the great turnout and support from the community,” continued Unhassobiscay. “With the move into our new building and the recent arrival of two new family practice physicians, the SSMC team is expanding in every way possible to meet the growing needs of our families.”

The new clinic boasts twenty-seven patient exam rooms, two procedure rooms and eight physician offices. RRH President/CEO Jim Suver previously commented: “This expansion will free up additional medical office space to allow RRH to bring in additional specialties for our community”.
