Ridgecrest Regional Hospital Announces Alterations to Scheduled Health Fair Events

Tuesday, March 10, 2020, RIDGECREST, Calif. - Out of an abundance of caution and with careful consideration for our community during this time of concern around the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), Ridgecrest Regional Hospital (RRH) has taken the decision to scale back on planned activities for the upcoming 2020 Health Fair on March 14 at the Kerr McGee Community Center.

Health Screenings will continue as scheduled. If you have an appointment please arrive at your scheduled time. If for any reason you would like to cancel your scheduled health screening appointment, please call 760-499-3975.

Alterations to the schedule are as follows:

• Provider Talks – canceled

• Cornhole Tournament – canceled

• Outside Activities – canceled

• Indoor Vendor Booths – canceled

• Food Vendors – canceled

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and understand that the health fair has become a key event providing health and wellness information and resources for our community.

RRH thanks the community for their understanding as we take these precautionary measures and we look forward in anticipation to the 2021 Health Fair.

At this current time (3-10-2020) there are no confirmed cases in Kern County. RRH will continue to keep you updated as we learn more about the status of COVID -19.
