COVID-19 Vaccine Advisory & Response: 1st & 2nd Dose Vaccinations (2.1.21)

Please be advised that at this time, Ridgecrest Regional Hospital (RRH) is still not able to schedule to vaccinate any new patients for 1st vaccine doses. We will update later this week if we learn of additional vaccine allocation.

If you received your 1st vaccine dose from RRH, we are asking that you attend your 2nd dose vaccine appointment, scheduled for 28 days after the 1st dose, as planned.

If there are any changes to vaccine availability for the 2nd dose, an RRH representative will contact you to let you know otherwise. CDC recommends even in the event of a delay, 2nd dose vaccinations should still be administered even outside of the 28 day window.

Due to the current shortage, we would like to remind the community of the other vaccine providers in Kern County that may offer a solutions for 1st and 2nd doses of the Moderna vaccine.
