Ridgecrest Regional Hospital (RRH) can confirm that additional vaccine doses arrived this week. As a result multiple vaccine clinics have already been conducted, with more in the process of being scheduled.
The initial RRH vaccine waitlist of over 5,000 individuals in line to be vaccinated has been reduced to less than 2,000 as of today. This also includes, individuals on the waitlist who were able to get vaccinated elsewhere.
Moving forwards, RRH will not be accepting any new additions to the RRH waitlist, as the hospital is in the process of transitioning to using MyTurn for online appointment scheduling.
If you called/text the RRH line and left a message before 2/19/21, you will remain on the waitlist and will receive a call to schedule your vaccine appointment. Please continue to ensure your voicemail boxes are set up and able to accept new messages when we call you back. If your voicemail is full and we are unable to leave a message we will be required to move to the next person in line. Our outbound calls to you will display as (760) 446-3551.
For those in the newly eligible Phase 1b Tier 1 of the vaccine allocation schedule, which in addition to 65 and older, now also includes "Those at risk of exposure at work in the following sectors: Education, Childcare, Emergency Services, Food and Agriculture," please visit MyTurn and create an account, so you get notified as vaccine becomes available.
RRH will continue to keep the community updated on latest developments in the vaccination process.
