COVID-19 Vaccinations Schedule Update (1.12.21)

COVID-19 vaccinations are underway in Kern County for healthcare workers (Phase 1a) and will soon be rolling out to the wider community (Phase 1b).

Here’s how the next phase will look:

Phase 1b Tier 1 - NEXT

• Individuals 75 years and older
• Those at risk of exposure at work in the following sectors: Education; Childcare; Emergency services; Food and agriculture

Phase 1b Tier 2 – SOON

• Individuals 65 - 74 years of age
• Those at risk of exposure at work in the following sectors: Transportation and logistics; Industrial, commercial, residential, and sheltering facilities and services; Critical manufacturing
• Congregate settings with outbreak risk: Incarcerated; Homeless

As soon as Phase 1b is opened officially by the county, RRH will be sharing information on COVID-19 vaccine appointment booking for those individuals in the eligible tiers.
