About Paul

Dr. Paul Frenette is a board certified Family Medicine physician who will be joining the Southern Sierra Medical Clinic this fall. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Cellular and Molecular Biology at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. He then went on to complete his medical training at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica and his family medicine residency training at Stamford Hospital-Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in Stamford, CT. His accomplishments include serving as the Resident Representative of Stamford Hospital’s Strategic Planning Committee, being appointed Chief Resident of the Family Medicine program at Stamford Hospital, and serving as the Assistant Coach for the Stamford Hospital Kickball League. He has presented poster cases at the Stamford Hospital Research Day and at the Connecticut Academy of Family Physicians: Family Medicine Research Day. He is also a published author in the field of Cellular and Molecular Biology. He is originally from Montreal, Canada and is fluent in French. In his spare time he enjoys playing hockey, soccer, kickball, and traveling the world.
