When we started the Mobile Health Unit, we had a vision of improving the health and wellness of students throughout our community. We know that making sure your kids are up to date on all their vaccinations and checkups every year can be difficult. The Mobile Health Unit can make this process easier for you by delivering quality medical services directly to your child’s school.

The Mobile Health Unit offers the following services:
  • Wellness checkups
  • Hearing and vision screening
  • Treatment for minor injuries
  • Treatment for minor illnesses
  • Sports physicals
  • Health education, including nutrition and physical fitness services

The Mobile Health Unit can be found in schools four days a week. You can schedule an appointment for your child by calling (760) 499-3853. Walk-ins are welcome, but they must be coordinated with the school.

  • Inyokern Elementary – Monday 8:30am - 12:30pm
  • Burroughs High School – Tuesday 8:00am to 12:00pm
  • Mesquite High School – Wednesday 8:00am to 12:00pm
  • Pierce Elementary – Thursday 9:30am to 1:30pm
