Julene O. Evans Murage, MD

About

Dr. Julene Evans Murage is a board-certified OB/GYN with more than 27 years of experience serving patients in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. She is an OB/GYN generalist with special interests in adolescent and menopausal gynecology, as well as complex gynecologic conditions and vulvovaginal health. 

She received her BS in Microbiology from Cornell University and her medical degree from the Jacobs School of Medicine in Buffalo. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. As an advocate for women's care, she is a strong believer in shared medical decision-making based on current and solid medical evidence. 

On a personal note, she was born in Jamaica and grew up in Brooklyn. She is the proud mother of three children, two currently in medical school and one based in California. 

She enjoys travel, puzzles, and all kinds of outdoor activities.
