Kelly A. Doty, PA-C

About

Kelly Doty, PA-C, NP, is a Physician’s Assistant with Ridgecrest Regional Hospital’s Neurosurgery Spine Clinic and a Nurse Practitioner with the Rural Health Clinic. She graduated with a BA in Anthropology from the California State University, Stanislaus in 1979 and was a Member of the Lambda Alpha National Honor Society. She received her BS in Nursing at the California State University, Bakersfield in 1987, where she was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau honor society. Kelly went on to attend the University of California, Davis-Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, where she graduated with honors. She holds a surgery and general medicine certification with NCCPA and has been nationally certified since 1995.

Kelly was born in Torrance, California and attended the Torrance High School. She worked as field archaeologist in California, Nevada. National Park Service, Utah, while living in Italy and considers herself lucky to have been able to participate in archaeology projects near Pompeii. Kelly’s career highlights include working across Emergency, Flight Nurse, Hospitalist, Neurosurgery and Cardiovascular surgery.

Kelly came to Ridgecrest, while her future husband was stationed at Edwards AFB in 2011-2013 and started in the Ridgecrest Regional Hospital ER department. On return from Italy, she began working in Urgent Care full-time. She currently works across both Urgent Care and Emergency departments at RRH.

In her free time, Kelly loves to travel and has travelled extensively throughout the world; having lived and/or worked in Mexico, Republic of Kiribati (Peace Corps); Votkinsk, Russia; Queensland, Australia; Naples, Italy.
