RRH COVID-19 ADVISORY & RESPONSE: COVID-19 TESTING & RESULTS UPDATE (7.11.20)

Please note that RRH utilizes an external lab for the processing of COVID-19 tests. Due to the high demand for tests across California at this time, with state testing rates currently averaging at over 100,000 tests per day, the external lab receiving RRH samples is experiencing a backlog and results are taking longer than anticipated.

We would like to assure the community that we will be monitoring results received this weekend and will be updating patients with any new results received. RRH is working closely with the external lab who have informed us that they are working 24/7 to manage their backlog and process results as quickly as possible for our community.

If you were tested due to a known or possible exposure or are experiencing covid-like symptoms, please continue to quarantine, stay home away from others and monitor your health. If your symptoms worsen including the following emergency warning signs, seek medical help immediately.

❗Persistent pain or pressure in the chest
❗New confusion
❗Inability to wake or stay awake
❗Bluish lips or face
