About

Deanna is a Speech-Language Pathologist. She provides rehabilitation services to adults with acquired impairments of speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing. She provides therapeutic services across all levels of care, including inpatient, skilled nursing, home-based, and outpatient.

Deanna received her undergraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. She obtained her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from San Diego State University. She then completed her Clinical Fellowship year at the VA Hospital in San Diego.

Deanna actively seeks ongoing education opportunities and ways to advance her skills to provide the best possible care for her patients. She values a patient-focused and functional approach to intervention with a focus on helping her patients achieve their goals and maximize their participation in daily life.

Outside of work, Deanna enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, reading, and swimming.
