Dr. Travis Mellon, DO, originally hailing from Alaska, has cultivated a diverse medical journey marked by academic excellence and a passion for emergency medicine. After completing his medical education in Kansas City, Missouri, and residency in Long Island, New York in 2009, Dr. Mellon dedicated seven years of service within the Indian Health Service at Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock, New Mexico. Subsequently, he relocated to California, where he has continued to make impactful contributions to Critical Access Hospital Emergency Departments, spanning from the Central Coast to Ridgecrest.

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and distinguished as a Fellow in Wilderness Medicine, Dr. Mellon's expertise is complemented by his commitment to professional development. Residing in Morro Bay, CA, with his wife Tracie, Dr. Mellon finds joy in exploring the outdoors, appreciating music, relishing good food, and embracing the pleasures of travel.
