RRH COVID-19 Advisory & Response: California Reopening & Restrictions Update (6.15.21)
Starting today, June 15, California lifts many of the restrictions that were put in place to limit the spread of COVID-19. Many businesses will be allowed to reopen, and many others will no longer enforce some of the capacity, distancing and masking precautions for those who are fully vaccinated.
However, the rules for healthcare settings and long-term care facilities are not changing at this time. At Ridgecrest Regional Hospital, we will continue to follow the guidance outlined by federal, state and county offices of public health. Masks will still be required for entry into any hospital facility and patient care areas.
Our top priority is keeping our staff and our community healthy. While we look forward to a gradual shift back to a less restrictive environment, we thank you in advance for helping us make sure we get there safely.
