Pre-admission is another feature we have to help our patients. By getting
patient information and other necessary information documented before
going into labor, we hope to ease the process. Take a look at the Pre-Admission
section for forms and more information.
Once your baby is born, there is yet more paperwork to fill out. Our Medical
Records department is here to aid you in this process. For frequently
asked questions and more, please
see our Medical Records page.
Pre-Admission
If you think you are in labor, please go to the Emergency Room –
Bldg E Entrance E2 on our Campus Map – and sign in. You will be seen quickly by a triage nurse who will
establish you are in labor. If you are in labor, you will be sent to the
Women’s Services floor–this process usually takes around 10
minutes. However, if your Doctor has told you to go directly to the Women’s
Services floor, go as directed. Please remember that the front of the
hospital is locked after 8:00pm, so you should proceed to the ER admitting
area to be directed to the Women’s Services floor.
If you are unable to download and print the forms from home, feel free
to visit our Admitting Department, which is
Bldg B Entrance B1 on our Campus Map. The hours are Monday through Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm and we can be reached at
(760) 499-3765.
